Welcome to the website of the Volvo Club of Queensland. The Volvo Club of Queensland is proud to be associated with Volvo Car Australia and Volvo Owners Clubs of Australia. The Objectives of the Club are to promote Volvos generally and the restoration and preservation of all Volvo models.
We are a social club that meets every 6 weeks or so to get-together with other Volvo enthusiasts at places of interest in the South-East corner of Queensland. These get-togethers are a way for members to show off their pride and joy, to discuss the Volvo marque, to be of assistance to other members or just to talk Volvo in a friendly, relaxed environment. We have members in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg, etc.
Membership
The Volvo Club of Queensland is proud to be part of the Volvo Owners Clubs of Australia (VOCA) which is a forum for the representatives of all Australian clubs to get together and exchange information, coordinate National Rally dates and have a united voice to Volvo Car Australia.
Members receive a copy of Rolling magazine produced by Volvo Club of Victoria. This bi-monthly magazine includes the Victorian, the South Australian, 1800/120 Club of Australia and ourselves as contributing clubs.
Classes of membership are:
Full/Family membership: All Volvo owners
Associate member : A person who has an interest in Volvos.
Please note: Family membership is equal to one (1) full membership and voting is for full or family members only.
Our club offers our members a range of events during the year:
- Technical Information (Especially useful for the DIY owner).
- Club Merchandise (VOCA grille badge, VOCA pin badge).
